Drake and Waye reunite

From MSNBC.com

Lil' Wayne is still serving out his prison sentence on Riker's Island, and his friend, fellow rapper Drake tells Rolling Stone that he's been able to visit Wayne three times.
"You get a van to take you over the [Rikers Island] bridge. Then a bus comes to pick you up and takes you in. The bus is full, and people usually trip out when I’m on it. Then I get to go in with Wayne and give him a hug and talk for a couple of hours," Drake said.
Wayne reported to prison in March to begin serving his one-year sentence on a weapon possession charge, but he expects to be released early.
The hip-hop stars haven't talked specifics about how Wayne will celebrate his release. "(The day he's released) is a day that I truly can’t comprehend," Drake said. "A man that’s been sober and celibate for, like, eight months -- I’m not going to question what he’s going to do the day he gets out! I know he has a concert in November at Madison Square Garden," Drake told Rolling Stone.

It has been reported that Drake and Nicki Minaj may not have actually got married.

Reps for the Young Money rappers have said that the pair did not tie the knot, despite both claiming on Twitter that they were "proud" to be romantically involved.

According to E! Online, the duo decided to collaborate on what appears to have been a publicity stunt.

Earlier this summer, Drake admitted that he has had a crush on Minaj since the two met last year.

Drake and Minaj are scheduled to appear at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards next month.

 from SOHH.com:
Young Money rapper Drake's Thank Me Later will reportedly hit the one million albums sold mark next week with weekend estimates easily giving him platinum status.

Young Money rapper Drake's Thank Me Later slipped one notch to No. 12 with 23,400. Heading into his 11th week, the emcee's long-awaited debut should reach platinum status next week with 993,500 records already sold. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
Prior to his album hitting stores last June, Drake said he was not interested in record sales.
Drake made this album for music lovers, not for the Billboard charts. "I didn't make this album for commercial purposes. A lot of the verses are extremely long. I just made it to share with people. I hope they can enjoy." (Rap-Up)
He is currently preparing his sophomore album and an upcoming R&B mixtape.
Always a gentleman, Drake smiled for the cameras and chatted briefly about his upcoming R&B mixtape and sophomore album at the BlackBerry Torch launch party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (Aug. 11). "I'm working on this mixtape, I got an R&B mixtape that I'm working on," Drake said in an interview. "I'm always accustomed to giving out free music, so I'm working on this new project for free and I'm also working on my second album, you know? Collaborations on that, anything is possible.'
